I'm not officially doing sessions right now but I couldn't resist doing some photos of this sweet newborn girl. She's actually 6 weeks and just beautiful. It took a while for her to decide to sleep but finally she did, in a basket and wearing her 3rd generation baptism gown.
Yes, it's true, I used to ride horses when I was growing up. My sister and I spent our free time at Wakefield Farm and whenever we're home now we try to see our friends at the farm and the horses. Katherine loves horses and going out to see them (and Mama Cat who she talks about often) and I was so happy to get these 2 shots yesterday:
We took Katherine to the Children's Discovery Museum and she and Lauren found a carousel:
She LOVED the museum, I wish we had something like this in our area.
While Alex is off drinking French wine in the country from which it comes, Katherine and I have headed to Charlottesville to spend some time with my parents and even my sister and her boyfriend (they made the trip up from Charleston, SC). Since Micheal (yes I spelled it that way on purpose) had never been to Monticello we decided to do the tour. We felt it was not as information-packed as it used to be and our house tour guide spent quite a bit of the precious time going over the rules and things to do once we exit the house but it was still a fun time overall.
